Home hunters in Gravesend will visit the launch of a local housebuilder’s highly anticipated new-build location in the town this weekend.
Bovis Homes’ Watermans Park opens this Saturday, with an exciting opportunity to view drawings and buy the first released homes off-plan.
Watermans Park’s launch event, which is by appointment only, takes place over the two days, from 10am to 5pm.
Candice McCabe, regional marketing manager at Bovis Homes, said: “We are so excited for the launch of our new Gravesend location, Watermans Park, this weekend.
“We have a range of house types to suit all types of home buyers, whether they’re growing families, retirees, individuals or first-time buyers.
“Come and visit Watermans Park this weekend to meet the Bovis Homes team who will help show you what we have to offer and answer any questions you have.”
Families, couples and individuals are spoilt for choice with a mixture of two-bedroom apartments and two three, four and five-bedroom homes to choose from.
There are many purchasing schemes available to assist buying a Bovis Homes property. They include the Government’s Help to Buy – Equity Loan scheme, Smooth Move, Home Exchange and the Key Workers initiative.
The Help to Buy – Equity Loan scheme is available at the location, plus the housebuilder’s Key Workers initiative.
Using the Help to Buy – Equity Loan scheme, home buyers need just a five per cent cash deposit, with the Government providing an equity loan of up to 20 per cent of the value of the property being bought. Purchasers then need to secure up to a 75 per cent mortgage.
Buyers looking to sell their home can take advantage of Bovis Homes' Smooth Move scheme, which can save time and thousands of pounds, with the home builder dealing with the estate agent on the customer's behalf, as well as paying the fees.
Bovis Homes’ Home Exchange initiative means the housebuilder will purchase the customer's current property, which means they can avoid all those estate agent fees and time-consuming, stress-building house chains. It also means that purchasers can say in their current house until their new home is ready.
To part-exchange their home, a customer’s current property must be valued at no more than 75 per cent of the new Bovis Home they wish to purchase. Bovis Homes will arrange for the buyer's property to be valued, then make them an offer based on the valuation.
Meanwhile, the Key Workers initiative offers great discounts to employees of certain public sector bodies.
