Once you choose your new Bovis Home all you have to do is register with our Smooth Move service †

We arrange for one or more estate agents to value your existing property and agree a selling price

We'll instruct the estate agent and deal with them on your behalf during the marketing of your property

Once a buyer is found you can reserve your new Bovis Home, and on legal completion we'll pay the estate agent's fees

Frequently asked Questions

Can I sell with Smooth Move and still get Help to Buy?

No, Help to Buy is now only available to first-time buyers.

Do I have to accept a lower offer?

No. You can withdraw from the scheme at any time, but your new home may no longer be reserved.

Does Smooth Move cost me anything?

No. We will pay all estate agent fees and marketing costs. You just pay the reservation fee.

Do Bovis Homes deal with all aspects of my property sale?

We will arrange for an estate agent(s) to value your property, and agree a selling price. We’ll then instruct an estate agent to market and sell your current property for you, and deal with them on your behalf. Once a buyer for your current property is found, you can then reserve your new Bovis Home. On legal completion, we will even pay the estate agents’ fees.

To take advantage of this offer you must claim before reserving a property from us and before any other offer or discount is applied. Marketing your existing home is determined by the estate agents in their professional judgement and we will liaise with them. Our suggested selling price for your existing home is not binding, the price will be determined by you. Only you have authority to accept any offer for your existing home from a buyer. Offer only applies if a buyer is found and they exchange within specified agreed time periods. We do not guarantee to find a buyer for your existing home. Offer may require reservation and exchange to have taken place by particular dates, which may vary for different plots. Offer may be subject to review, change or withdrawal if any set time periods expire. Your £500 registration fee is not repayable to you if a buyer is not found or you do not exchange within the required time periods. The registration fee is only credited against your reservation fee, otherwise it is non-refundable. Once you reserve a new home, your reservation fee may be at risk if you do not proceed with the purchase for any reason, including if your buyer pulls out. The dates for exchange and completion of your purchase of the new build home from us must be the same as those on selling your existing home. Subject to individual lender terms and conditions. This offer is not to be used in conjunction with any other offer. Not applicable to second home owners or investor purchasers.
