The 'Darwen draw': New data reveals spike in interest in new builds

According to Demand Maps generated by Rightmove, a collection of new two, three and four-bedroom homes at Collingwood Park is gathering increasing interest from buyers across Lancashire, including Rochdale, Bolton and Preston.

Search data from SEMRush also revealed a staggering 450% increase in month-on-month searches for ‘Darwen Homes’, compared to 2023, and more notably, a significant increase from the minimal searches made in 2022. These findings coincide with the platform revealing a 125% increase in searches for ‘new homes Lancashire’ from 2021 to 2026.

The Collingwood Park development at Holden Fold in Darwen currently offers a range of three and four-bedroom homes with prices starting at £300,000.
