Families enjoy Easter fun days at housing developments in Quedgeley and Twigworth

Children had an ‘eggs’cellent time at fun-filled Easter events organised by a housebuilder at its developments in Twigworth and Quedgeley. Youngsters were given free treats and claimed prizes in Easter egg hunts at the two family fun days staged by Vistry Group on Saturday 16 April. The housebuilder held the events between 12pm and 4pm at Twigworth Green, where Bovis Homes and Linden Homes are building 725 new homes and at Green Oaks in Quedgeley where Linden Homes is delivering 80 new properties. The Easter Bunny was on hand at Twigworth Green to dish out free eggs, while parents and children enjoyed petting the donkeys, goats and other small animals provided by mobile farms at both developments. Hayley Ody, regional sales and marketing director at Vistry Cotswolds, said: “It was lovely to see so many people turn out to these fabulous family fun days. The smiles on the faces of the children were a joy to behold as they took part in the Easter activities. “The donkeys and goats brought along by the mobile farms were the real stars of the show as parents and youngsters alike stroked and petted the four-legged visitors. Everyone was having fun and there was a real sense that it was a day for the community to come together to relax and meet up. “These are the kind of public events that we love to stage to engage with the local communities where we are building.
