Nature is never far away when you live in one of our new build houses in Buckingham. The River Great Ouse winds its way through Buckingham, offering beautiful riverside walks that are perfect for clearing your head or simply enjoying the seasons change. Verney Park and Chandos Park both provide open green space, children's play areas and landscaped grounds for families to enjoy at their leisure.
For a longer escape, the Buckingham Railway Walk offers a traffic-free route ideal for cycling or a peaceful stroll. And just a short drive away, the magnificent Stowe Landscape Gardens offer historic parkland and sweeping countryside walks that never grow old.
Taking time out
Buckingham is a town with real character, and there's plenty to keep you entertained close to your new home at Willow Park. For culture and history, the Buckingham Old Gaol Museum and the medieval Buckingham Chantry Chapel offer fascinating glimpses into the town's past.
When it's time for something more contemporary, Film Place cinema shows the latest releases, while the Radcliffe Centre hosts live music and community events throughout the year. For motorsport enthusiasts, Silverstone Circuit is only around 10 miles away, making race days and events very easy to enjoy.
Buckingham's town centre is home to a wonderful mix of independent cafés, coffee shops and traditional tearooms, perfect for a leisurely morning or a relaxed catch-up with friends. When it comes to dining, you'll find a wide variety of traditional pubs and restaurants serving everything from hearty British classics to international cuisine.
Shopping locally
For your everyday essentials, Tesco Superstore, Waitrose and Aldi are all conveniently close to our new builds in Buckingham, making the weekly shop quick and straightforward.
The town's High Street has a warmth and character that's hard to find elsewhere. Independent shops and services are abundant, while regular street markets bring a real sense of community, offering local produce, food and specialist finds throughout the year.
When you're in the mood for more variety, the Meadow Walk Shopping Centre is just a short drive away, where you'll find a wide variety of national retailers. And for a truly extensive retail and leisure experience, Milton Keynes is only around 12 miles from Willow Park, offering larger retail destinations like the centre:mk indoor shopping mall.
Getting an education
Families residing at Willow Park will find an excellent range of schools close to the new housing development. For younger children, Buckingham Primary School, Bourton Meadow Academy and Lace Hill Academy are all within easy reach, providing welcoming settings where children can thrive. George Grenville Academy also offers primary provision in the local area.
For older students, The Buckingham School provides secondary education locally, while the highly regarded Royal Latin School offers grammar school education for those who qualify.
For further and higher education, the University of Buckingham offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across a wide range of subjects.
Staying connected
Our new build homes in Buckingham are perfectly positioned for straightforward connections in every direction. The A421 provides a direct link towards Milton Keynes and the M1, while the A43 connects you to the M40 for easy access to Oxford, London and Birmingham.
For rail travel, Milton Keynes Central is your mainline gateway, with fast services to London Euston, as well as connections to Birmingham, Liverpool and Manchester. Bicester North and Bicester Village stations are also accessible by car, broadening your options even further.
Regular bus and coach services connect Buckingham with Milton Keynes, Oxford and Bedford. And for international travel, London Luton Airport, Birmingham Airport and London Heathrow are all accessible via the motorway network.
