Bovis Homes’ exclusive collection of new homes at Woodlands in Barrow Gurney has been singled out in the best residential development category at the Bristol Property Awards, which takes place this month.
The awards celebrate the city’s dynamic property sector and the ceremony will take place at Ashton Gate on Friday 25th November.
Regional sales and marketing director, Sue Scholfield commented: “It’s fantastic that Woodlands has been named as a finalist. A great deal of work goes into the design of the homes in the early stages to create high-quality developments that will complement the surrounding area and we’re very proud of how Woodlands is taking shape.”
The development is being created in joint venture partnership with Wates Developments Group and will comprise 66 high quality homes in a picturesque setting – surrounded by mature trees – as well as a play park, public open space and improved woodland.
There will be an impressive collection of three, four and five bedroom detached properties, showcasing bi-fold doors leading out to the garden, bay windows and double garages.
Woodlands is supporting the local community by contributing £1.54 million towards: education, library services, affordable housing, transport, plus sport and leisure facilities including contributions towards Barrow Gurney village hall, Long Ashton community centre, Long Ashton playing pitches and changing rooms.
Oscar Williams has also been recognised in the rising star category. Oscar joined the company as a trainee – after undertaking work experience – and has been promoted to assistant buyer already, aged 21.
