New scheme offers shared ownership homes in Sawtry

A collection of new-build properties at Bovis Homes’ Judith Gardens location in Sawtry are now available under a shared ownership scheme, designed to help more people get onto the property ladder.

A number of selected two, three and four-bedroom homes at the development, off Gidding Road, are on sale through the Home Stepper initiative.

Bovis Homes has teamed up with Sage Homes, which is England’s largest provider of new-build affordable homes, to offer a shared ownership arrangement where the customer buys a percentage share of the property and pays rent on the rest.

This means that a 50 per cent share in a four-bedroom Juniper home at Judith Gardens can be purchased for as little as £206,750 and a similar share of a four-bedroom Aspen property is available at £222,125. Buyers can secure a 50 per cent share in a three-bedroom Cypress home for £182,500 and a half share in a two-bedroom Hawthorn for £138,625.

Potential purchasers can take a look inside the Aspen which opened this September, The Juniper view home is also already available to look around, which opened this Spring. As well as the two show homes, The Cypress and The Chestnut.
