When you move home it can be difficult to know the best time to meet your new neighbours. You intend to introduce yourself but then two weeks pass while you’re busy unpacking and that moment seems to have gone.
Bovis Homes has given its residents a helping hand by hosting a special ‘meet your neighbours event’ at its Bay View development in Northam, to celebrate the festive season.
The party took place last Thursday between 6pm and 8pm and over 30 guests attended from the housebuilder’s new developments, Bay View in Northam and Cherry Fields in Bickington.
The guests included residents and some customers who are due to move this month. They were also joined by the sales team, as well as Ollie, the site manager and Paul, the assistant site manager.
Area sales manager, Beverly Rickard commented: “We build homes but building the community continues after we have left site and it was wonderful to see it thriving already. Everyone was in good spirits and there was lots of laughter, drinks and mince pies flowing all evening.
“The show home at Bay View has been dressed for Christmas and the whole event really got everyone into the festive spirit – it was even followed by snow at the weekend!”
