Prospective buyers are being offered a behind-the-scenes glimpse at new homes under construction at a Bovis Homes location in Shinfield this weekend.
The housebuilder is hosting a Hard Hat and Dusty Boots event at its Shinfield Meadows development in the village this Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 April.
Visitors will be provided with hard hats, hi-vis jackets and safety boots before heading out onto the site to explore two different properties currently in their early build stages – the four-bedroom detached Chestnut house type and the five-bedroom detached Yew design.
Amber Bowley, regional sales director for Bovis Homes, said: “Being able to view these properties at such an early stage of construction will give potential purchasers a unique insight into the work that goes into creating our high-quality new-build homes.
“We currently have a Chestnut and a Yew available to buy at Shinfield Meadows, so this event could be an opportunity for buyers to get a sneak preview of the design and layout of their new house before they move in.
“Guests will also be able to look around the four-bedroom Willow show home, giving them an idea of what their new home will look like when it is fully built and finished to a high specification. And our sales team will be on hand throughout the event to explain the various buying options available to customers and to answer any questions they may have.

Bovis Homes is part of the Vistry Group, which also includes Linden Homes and Countryside Homes. Vistry is building 672 new homes at Shinfield Meadows under both its Linden Homes and Bovis Homes brands.
Vistry recently received a five-star rating from the House Builders Federation (HBF), which means that 90 per cent of its customers said they would recommend the housebuilder to a friend.
A selection of four and five-bedroom Bovis Homes properties are currently available at Shinfield Meadows, including the four-bedroom Chestnut priced at £635,000, and the five-bedroom Yew priced at £720,000.
