A new show home and sales centre were unveiled at a launch event with a wildlife theme at Bovis Homes’ Bollin Grange location in Macclesfield at the weekend.
A VIP event was held on Friday (1 September) to officially open the Hazel show home and Chestnut Sales Experience Centre, followed by a public launch on Saturday (2 September).
Members of the British Hedgehog Preservation Society and the Bumblebee Conservation Trust attended during the weekend, with a representative from the Bumblebee Conservation Trust giving a talk on the Friday about how growing flowers can help bees survive and thrive. Bovis Homes is providing bee-friendly seed backs to homebuyers at Bollin Grange to help residents support these vital pollinators.
Visitors during the weekend enjoyed cooking demonstrations by local chef Kimberley’s Cuisine, in the show home kitchen, using locally sourced produce, while they were also able to meet the team behind the show home’s interior design, Lifestyle Interiors.
Freya Halsall, marketing manager for Bovis Homes, said: “The launch of the new show home and sales experience centre was a big success. It was great to be able to show our invited guests round the show home and sales experience centre at the VIP event, and then we had lots of visitors coming along on the public launch day.
“People were interested to hear the wildlife talks and enjoyed sampling the food created during the chef’s demonstrations. We were pleased to be able to support local food suppliers as part of our support for the wider community in Macclesfield.
“It was also lovely to welcome representatives from Lifestyle Interiors, who have styled such a fabulous show home, and hear how they created the look.”
Bovis Homes is part of Vistry Group, which also includes Linden Homes and Countryside Homes.
The housebuilder is delivering 213 properties for private sale at Bollin Grange, off Gaw End Lane, including two to five-bedroom houses and a two-bedroom bungalow. There will also be 93 affordable homes available for rent or shared ownership for local people.
There’s currently a choice of three, four and five-bedroom houses available to reserve with prices starting from £365,000.
