Members of the public are being given the chance to look inside new-build homes under construction in Finchampstead.
Bovis Homes is hosting a Hard Hut and Dusty Boots event at its Coronation Fields development in the Berkshire village on Saturday 17 February.
The event will give visitors rare behind-the-scenes access to a construction site and enable them to see houses at various stages of the build process.
They will be shown three properties - the three-bedroom Stoneleigh, four-bedroom Aspen and three-bedroom Cypress house styles.
Bovis Homes marketing manager Alix Laflin said: “This is a great opportunity for people who are thinking of buying a home at Coronation Fields or are simply curious about the new development and what goes into creating a new-build property, to see for themselves.
“Come and put on a hard hat and hi-vis and let us show you around. People are often very interested in how much work and detail goes into making a high-quality home and visitors will be able to see it all and understand the high standards we bring to our work.
“Members of the public of course would not normally be allowed onto a live building site such as this, but we love to put together these special events so that they can safely look around and see what goes into building a Bovis home.”
During the event, visitors will have the opportunity to speak to a sales advisor and ask about buying and selling options.
Coronation Fields is a development of 140 homes being built on the site of the former Reading Football Club training ground off Park Lane. The development will feature a community green and play area, with all homes having solar panels and electric vehicle charging points as standard.
It includes a mix of two, three, four and five-bedroom properties for sale and 56 affordable homes for low-cost rent or shared ownership. Prices currently start at £415,000 for a two-bedroom semi-detached house.
The Hard Hat and Dusty Boots event takes place on Saturday 17 February from 10am to 4pm.
