New homes specialist Jo walks the talk at new Devon neighbourhood

Sales advisor Jo Stairmand has put her money where her mouth is after spending many months finding dream Bovis Homes properties for house hunters in the South West.
She has been so impressed with the location and the quality of homes at The Landings, close to Braunton on the North Devon coast, that she is now the proud owner of a two-bedroom 'Amberley' house type there!
“I think it certainly inspires confidence in the quality of the home that customers are looking to purchase when they know that I have already bought one and moved in,” explained Jo.
“They'll often remark that the fact I have bought a home here myself is a real selling point.
“I have lived in the South West virtually my whole life – my parents owned a hotel in Woolacombe – so I have a really good local knowledge that I can share with customers as well.”
Jo, who has been part of the Bovis Homes sales team at The Landings for the past 18 months, relishes an opportunity to show new home owners just how much the location can offer residents of all ages.
Close to Blue Flag beaches and stunning scenery, Braunton has a fine selection of local amenities and shops, pubs, cafes, supermarkets and schools.
“The location is fantastic,” said Jo. “I particularly like having the Tarka Cycle Trail on our doorstep. This follows the journey of the otter in the famous book by local author Henry Williamson, and, as it's traffic-free, I can be in Braunton or Barnstaple in 20 minutes without needing the car.
“It isn't surprising that The Landings has become such a sought-after location when you consider all the great local amenities we have close by.”
Jo is delighted that her two-bedroom semi-detached home has everything that she was looking for in a new property, including a fitted kitchen and integrated appliances.
“It's the ideal home for me,” said Jo. “I really like the open-plan layout, both bedrooms are well proportioned and I have a good-sized garden.”
