Suffolk housebuyers Zenzo and Tania Mpofu have been delighted with the continuing support provided by Bovis Homes after purchasing and moving into their first brand-new home.
The couple said that the friendly and knowledgeable sales team at the Ribbans Park location near Ipswich have supported them at every step on their home-buying journey, offering expertise and key information about purchase assistance schemes such the 'Help to Buy – Equity Loan'.
Zenzo and Tania are now among the thousands of buyers who have been assisted by 'Help to Buy' since it was launched by the Government in 2013.
They are also benefiting from the two-year warranty provided by Bovis Homes that ensures any items around the home are dealt with by a dedicated customer care team, as part of its commitment to deliver a high-quality home and excellent service.
“Rob and Sian in the sales office at Ribbans Park have been fantastic – they're a great team,” said Zenzo. “They understood what we were looking for and they took their time to understand our needs.
“Even now, after we've moved in, they are very open and we can contact them with any questions that we might have. They are always so supportive and customer-focused.
“The Help to Buy process went smoothly and now we're enjoying settling into our new home.”
Available only on new-build homes, to both first-time buyers and existing home owners, with Help to Buy you need just a five per cent deposit and receive an equity loan of up to 20 per cent of the value of the property from by the Government, interest-free for the first five years.
It's one of a number of schemes available at Ribbans Park, which also has a range of Home Reach properties, a part-rent part-buy option helping purchasers to get onto the housing ladder.
Zenzo and Tania, who work in the utilities sector, said the range of local amenities close to Ribbans Park were among the attractions of buying their first home in the area.
Ribbans Park is less than three miles from Ipswich town centre, which boasts a wealth of shops, popular music, arts and cultural entertainment venues, schools, health facilities and sports clubs.
“We were tenants of a rented property in Ipswich, so we knew the area, but we wanted to own our home for the freedom that it would give us and to get on to the property ladder,” explained Zenzo. “The location isn't far from the town centre and there are good transport links.”
Zenzo said the couple's new home, a three-bedroom 'Chertsey' house type, offered everything that they had been looking for from their first property.
Features include an open-plan sitting room and dining area, with French doors to the rear garden, plus a fully-fitted kitchen.
“The rooms are spacious, which is important for when family and friends come to visit, and the garden is a good size compared to what we've seen from other house builders,” added Zenzo.
