The Ipswich Valley Rangers under 16's team is geared up to take on all-comers thanks to support from a local home builder.

Bovis Homes has stepped in to sponsor the Suffolk-based team, and the youngsters recently donned their new blue and white kit that features the company's famous hummingbird logo.

“We're delighted to have been able to help out and sponsor the team,” says Bovis Homes regional marketing manager, Candice McCabe. “The squad look fantastic in their new kit and we hope that it brings them lots of good luck and success on the football field.”

The sponsorship deal comes as Bovis Homes joins the Ipswich community with its new Ribbans Park location, which is situated just a short distance from where the club trains and plays it games.

“Ipswich Valley Rangers FC would like to thank Bovis Homes for sponsoring our Sunday under 16 Blue team,” says Paul Bailey, chairman of the Ipswich Valley Rangers. “Ipswich Valley Rangers FC provides organised football to nearly 400 players, ranging from seven years-old up to 18, within our youth section of 31 teams.”

With a range of family homes available, a number of young residents at Ribbans Park will no doubt be signing up to play in the near future, further boosting the fortunes of the club.

The new location has generated a lot of interest in the local housing market, with the sales centre recently welcoming a stream of visitors to its new three-bedroom Faversham show home.
