A pair of newlyweds from Southampton were able to step off the plane from their exotic honeymoon and head straight across the threshold of their dream property thanks to Bovis Homes.
Garry and Elaine Malone, both 49, were married in June before jetting off to Mauritius, having reserved a new four-bed detached house off-plan at Bovis Homes' Knights Mount location in North Baddesley, using the house builder's own Home Exchange scheme.
Bovis Homes arranged it so that the couple were able to return from their honeymoon, collect their keys and pull up on their brand new driveway that very same day.
Speaking about the move, Garry, Senior Manager at IFA firm Chase DeVere, said: "I told Elaine about the move date option on the honeymoon and we both decided to go for it, moving our belongings in immediately, and we haven't looked back.
"The Bovis team has been great, especially Tracey in the sales office. Home Exchange helped us save the money and hassle of selling our old property, and I would definitely recommend using Bovis' own recommended solicitors for further time and cost savings.
"Thanks to the flexibility shown by Bovis Homes, we were able to agree to the new date and arrive at the new house ready to start married life."
"We immediately fell in love with the excellent style, layout and design of the house after viewing a very similar show home at Bovis Homes' Romsey location, so we had no hesitation in buying the house situated at Knights Mount, close to our jobs, friends and families.
"It's just perfect for us. It has excellent sized rooms throughout, including a stunning kitchen-diner, enough space to have a dressing/wardrobe room in the third bedroom and a really good size garden to entertain our three active grandchildren."
The 'Home Exchange' package sees Bovis Homes buy a customer's old house to enable them to purchase a brand new property in a quick and easy move that avoids estate agent fees and house chains.
