Greg met the team and ground workers at Keble Fields, on London Road, and said the development's success was clearly a “team effort” and that working well together “made a big difference”.
Presenting Alan with his National House Building Council's (NHBC) Pride in the Job award certificate, Greg said: “Congratulations Alan, for your Pride in the Job award, one of six in the group, which comes with an ongoing 100 per cent customer satisfaction score for this year - brilliant job.”
Maria Sanchez, sales adviser at Keble Fields, said Alan and the team's achievement was producing further positive results at the location.
“We told a customer about the Pride in the Job award and that convinced them to buy,” she said.

Greg had a look around the five-bedroom Ansell and Stratford show homes, before looking at a plot that is being handed over to the customer in two weeks' time.
He took time to meet ground workers, including Simon Moffatt, who works on materials.
Supriya Ray, managing director of the Western region, and Gavin Charlton, build director, also joined the site tour with other Western board members.
Gavin said: “It's great to have Greg on site to meet our colleagues who are enjoying great success on the site, which is reflected in our positive customer feedback.”
Alan picked up the gong in the South West region of the NHBC Pride in the Job Awards 2018.

Alan was one of the winners selected for a Quality award from more than 16,000 site managers from across the country and the achievement illustrates Bovis Homes' drive to recruit the best in the business to deliver high quality construction in Fairford and the rest of its Western region.
Alan, who has worked at the location for the past couple of years, said: “It feels absolutely fantastic, it's been unbelievable."
Alan is one of six Bovis Homes site managers who won Pride in the Job awards across England this year. It is the highest number since 2004.
