Bovis Homes’ Blackmore Meadows development in Stalbridge recently had a new resident builder on site!
The builder scarecrow was created for the Stalbridge Scarecrow Trail which involved scarecrows – made and dressed by the local community – placed around the village for people to spot while walking the route.
Build director, Gareth Neale, commented: “We loved creating the builder scarecrow who sat proudly outside our Blackmore Meadows development. He wore full Bovis uniform and was stuffed with straw from a colleague’s farm. Local reed was kindly provided by our master thatcher and wooden tools were made by our carpenters, so he looked the part.
“Scarecrow trails are fantastic and you cannot help but smile when you see the range of characters on display and the amount of effort that’s gone into the build. It was wonderful to get involved!”
