Two-thirds of the new Bovis Homes properties have been built at a location in Ash, near Canterbury, where the final homes now remain for sale.
The housebuilder has finished work on 86 of the 90 homes under construction at Harfleet Gardens, off Chequer Lane, with new residents moved into 81 of these completed properties.
The development will consist of 63 two, three and four-bedroom houses for private sale and 27 affordable properties for local people through shared ownership or low-cost rent.
With 55 of the private homes sold, there are now eight three and four-bedroom houses available to reserve.
Candice McCabe, marketing manager for Bovis Homes, said: “Construction is progressing very well at Harfleet Gardens and we are in the happy position to be able to report that two-thirds of the new homes here have been built. So far, residents have been handed the keys to their properties and it is good to see a brand-new community taking shape.
“We launched the site in the autumn of 2021 and only the final homes now remain for sale. This clearly demonstrates the high level of interest in the development and the need for new housing in the area.
“Buyers have been attracted to Harfleet Gardens by a combination of factors that make the development a great place to live. The site is located in a peaceful rural setting yet is close to the lively and engaging coastal resorts of Broadstairs, Margate and Deal which offer a fun day at the seaside.

Motorists are well-served by the nearby A257 Ash bypass which leads to Sandwich and to the cathedral city of Canterbury just ten miles away.
“We have found that a lot of families have been drawn to the development by the choice of three and four-bedroom homes and the well-regarded education provision in the local area, including Ash, Cartwright and Kelsey CE Primary School in the village, while there are secondary schools in nearby Sandwich.”
There is currently a choice of three and four-bedroom new homes available to reserve at Harfleet Gardens, with prices starting at £349,995 and £499,995 respectively.
