First Bovis Homes properties to be released for sale in West Malling

Homebuyers will have an opportunity to reserve new Bovis Homes properties in West Malling next month (September) as the first homes are released for sale at Pippins Place.

Bovis Homes is building new homes at the location west of Winterfield Lane as part of a joint venture with Wates Developments.

The development will be officially launched to the public in mid-September and the first properties for sale will include a selection of four and five-bedroom houses, with three-bedroom houses to be released in Autumn, too.

Candice McCabe, marketing manager for Bovis Homes, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming potential customers to Pippins Place, and showing them what this new location has to offer homebuyers.

“We have already seen great interest from potential buyers who are eager to see the house types and layouts. There is an exciting buzz around the launch.

“It is certainly a fantastic development in a much sought-after area. The new homes at Pippins Place will benefit from leafy surroundings with a new country park, children’s play area and orchard being created on the doorstep, while West Malling high street is just a mile away.

“The proximity to rail and road links is another major attraction as it puts our new residents within easy reach of nearby towns as well as London, which is great for commuting, shopping and entertainment.

“The location is a 10-minute walk from West Malling railway station where there are services to London Victoria that take around an hour, and to Maidstone in around 10 minutes, while it’s just a short drive to the M20 and M2 motorways for those travelling by car.”

A total of 250 one to five-bedroom homes are planned at Pippins Place, with 150 homes for private sale and 100 affordable homes available for local people through low-cost rent or shared ownership.

The 44-acre site, which is located to the south of the A20, will include a 23-acre country park.
