Hundreds of children across Sussex will enjoy Easter eggs this weekend thanks to a county housebuilder’s thousand-pound donation.
Bovis Homes donated to the Sussex Easter egg appeal
Bovis Homes donated £1,295 to More Radio Mid-Sussex’s Easter Egg Appeal 2019, which aims to raise Easter eggs for children who are less fortunate.
More than 1,500 eggs have been collected and will be handed to charities, organisations and directly to children.
Candice McCabe, regional marketing manager at Bovis Homes, said: “All children deserve a treat this Easter and Bovis Homes is delighted to help in any way to ensure this happens this Easter weekend.
“Our staff were more than willing to support this local appeal and we wish children across Sussex a wonderful and happy Easter.”
Beneficiaries of this year’s Easter appeal include Lancing and Sompting Food Bank, Safe in Sussex, The Empty Plate Café and the Rockinghorse Children’s Charity, among many others.
