New community taking shape at housing development in Ash

A new community is beginning to take shape as work progresses at a housing development in the Kent village of Ash. New residents have now moved into seven of the 63 private homes being built at Harfleet Gardens by Bovis Homes. The housebuilder, which is part of Vistry Group, is delivering a total of 90 homes at the Chequer Lane development, including 27 affordable homes provided for local people through rent and shared ownership. So far, nearly a quarter of the private homes, which are two, three and four-bedroom properties, have been snapped up.
