Stadhampton is perfectly located for getting around Oxfordshire. Whether you're commuting to Oxford city centre which is less than 9 miles away, or needing to get to junction 7 of the M40 (just 4.5 miles away), the county is on your doorstep. For other commutes; Thame is 10 miles away, Reading is less than 20 miles from Stadhampton, and High Wycombe is just 22 miles away via the M40. Didcot Parkway railway station is 10 miles away, with services to London Paddington taking about 45 minutes. For air travel, Heathrow Airport is 40 miles and Luton Airport 60 miles.
A trip to the shops
The village of Stadhampton has its own petrol station and M&S Food as well as the famous Crazy Bear Farm Shop selling locally-reared produce. Just over 5 miles from Stadhampton is the outskirts of Oxford where you'll find a Tesco Superstore, Boots, Next, Mothercare and M&S Foodhall in the Oxford Retail Park. Alternatively, there's a Waitrose supermarket under 7 miles away in Wallingford. There are many national retailers at Templars Square in Cowley, which has more than 90 stores, and Westgate shopping centre in the city centre boasts more than 100 stores.
Taking time out
In Stadhampton, enjoy a meal and a drink at The Crown pub or The Crazy Bear and then unwind with a walk along the scenic River Thame. For a day out in the countryside, the start of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is less than 10 miles away. There are several gyms/leisure centres about 6 miles away on the south side of the city. Oxford city centre has everything you'd expect from one of the most famous cities in the world. From historical landmarks, museums and punting on the river; to modern bars, international restaurants, cinemas and theatres.
Education
Stadhampton Primary School takes pupils from 4 to 10 years, and for senior students there's The Oxford Academy and the Oxford Spires Academy, both offering sixth form centres. The co-educational Catholic school, Our Lady's Abingdon caters for students aged 11 to 18 years. The Catholic secondary school, St Gregory the Great takes pupils from 4 to 19 years, and the Emmanuel Christian School is for students aged from 3 to 11. There is a choice of independent schools in Oxford including Magdalen College School, Christ Church Cathedral School and New College School, all catering for boys. For girls there's Wychwood School, Oxford High School and Headington School.

- Follow signs for Wallingford (A329)
- Continue for about 4 miles until you reach Stadhampton
- Just after the BP fuel station, turn left to stay on the A329
- You will find Hampton Meadow on your left hand side in about 1/3 mile
- At Junction 8a take the A40/A418 exit for Oxford/Thames/Aylesbury
- Follow signs for Wallingford (A329)
- Once on the A329, continue for about 4 miles until you reach Stadhampton
- Just after the BP fuel station, turn left to stay on the A329
- You will find Hampton Meadow on your left hand side in about 1/3 mile
- Leave Oxford heading south west on the B480
- Continue along the B480 for approximately 5 miles until you reach Stadhampton
- Just before the BP fuel station, turn right to join the A329
- You will find Hampton Meadow on your left hand side in about 1/3 mile
