ASTON CLINTON VILLAGE
Aston Clinton is believed to have been formed at the crossing of Akeman Street and Icknield Way in Roman times and is even mentioned in the Domesday Book. Nowadays, its rich heritage can be seen in the beautiful Parish Church of St Michael and All Angels, and the Anthony Hall in the centre of the village.
The village history is also inextricably linked with the iconic Aston Martin brand, having given part of its name in 1914 after successful test runs at the nearby Aston Hill Climb. Aston Clinton has all the modern amenities of a 21st century village served by many local services and sports and leisure clubs. It has a nursery, a primary school, a post office, a doctor's surgery, a pharmacy, dentist, vets, garden centre and a petrol station.

Aston Brook is less than four miles from Aylesbury and has many well-known high street stores, as well as a range of independent shops. Two of its three main shopping centres, Friars Square and Hale Leys, include national names such as House of Fraser, Boots and Next, while Aylesbury Shopping Park has a choice of retail outlets. There are regular general markets, a vintage and craft bazaar and a farmer's market in the town's Square and speciality traders visit throughout the year.
Aylesbury's neighbouring market town of Tring has a range of local retailers, as does Chesham with its pedestrianised High Street, while The Broadway and High Street of Amersham, offers elegant clothes and antique shops.
