There are two village pubs, a children''s play area, sports fields and scenic walks from Castlemorton Common lead onto the Malvern Hills. The annual Welland Steam Rally, Upton Jazz Festival and Malvern Spring Festival are all major attractions, while the prestigious Malvern Theatre is an acclaimed regional arts centre with music, comedy, drama and film. The Malvern Splash Leisure Centre provides swimming pools and a gym and Manor Park Club has many racquet sports.
Welland Primary School caters for children from four to eleven years and Welland Pre-School, a registered charity, takes two to four-year-olds. For senior pupils Hanley Castle High School is about five miles away and has sixth form facilities. The independent Malvern College is a co-educational school for 13 to 18 year olds and Malvern St James Girls'' School caters for young pupils from Pre-Prep age through to sixth form.
