Getting around
The nearby A420 links Shrivenham to Swindon, 7 miles away, and Oxford 26 miles. The market town of Faringdon is only a 7 mile drive on the A420, while junction 15 of the M4, for London and Wales is only 8 miles away on the A420 and A419. Buses run daily on weekdays from Shrivenham to Oxford, Faringdon and Swindon. For air travel Bristol Airport is 58 miles away and Heathrow is 71 miles away.

Education
Shrivenham's Church of England Primary School dates back to 1863 and caters for children from four to 11-year-olds.
