Getting around
Ringmer is ideally located for transport links, with Brighton and the South Coast along the A26 and A27 and London via the A22 and M23. Lewes rail station is approximately 3 miles away and has regular services to London Victoria, taking just over an hour. The village is served by the number 28 bus which runs between Brighton and Tunbridge Wells. For wider travel London Gatwick Airport can be easily reached via the M23.

Ringmer has two schools, Ringmer Primary School for ages 4 -11 and Kings Academy for students aged 11 - 16. Located in the heart of the village is Ringmer Primary School and Nursery for younger children and Chailey School, Bede's Senior School and Plumpton College, all catering for secondary education. For further education there is the East Sussex College with campuses at Lewes, Eastbourne and Newhaven.
