There is also a butcher's, baker's, delicatessen, a newsagent's, post office and chemists and for supermarket shopping you've a Waitrose and Aldi nearby. You can browse weekly markets in The Square and Corn Market, or for iconic fashion brands take a trip to Swindon Designer Outlet that has more than 100 stores.

Take the tour of Faringdon's many historic and listed buildings, follow the FUN Trail, or relax with a picnic beside the fishing lake at Folly Country Park. Climb the 100 ft Folly Tower for views of five counties, or visit the National Trust home of Lord Faringdon at Buscot House. For sports-lovers there's Faringdon Leisure Centre, or you can join one of the many sports clubs. You can't live in the Vale of the White Horse without trotting down to Uffington to see the 3,000 year old, White Horse that's cut into the hillside and chalk-filled.
