A customer care manager in Sarisbury Green is looking forward to meeting an inspirational 90-year-old widow she has spoken with weekly during her NHS volunteering role while furloughed.

Catherine Greenham, customer care service manager at Vistry Group – which includes Linden and Bovis Homes – traded her home owner support role for calling the vulnerable during lockdown and she has been speaking to Molly, who lives on the same road.

Colleagues from a national housebuilder are running 1,000km in 100 days to help tackle homelessness in Peterborough and the rest of the UK.

A team of seven from Vistry Group’s East Midlands region have strapped up and are virtually running the distance of Devon to Inverness for homeless charity Crisis.

Participants Alan Lusha, Mark Bond, Gary Fane, Jane Coulson, Matthew Parker, Andrew Wilmot and Georgina McCrae are now more than 70 days in and have passed Edinburgh on their virtual map. Pupils at Chipping Campden School are delighted that the show can go on thanks to £850,000 of funding for a state-of-the-art performing arts centre from a local housebuilding group.

Image for Vistry Group secures well-connected land for an extra 128 homes near Waterlooville

Vistry Group has purchased land for a further 128 new homes next to its current location near Waterlooville – increasing the value of the development to £76 million.

The national housebuilding company, which includes Linden Homes and Bovis Homes, bought the Lovedean parcel from residential property firm Grainger plc, and will build 81 private and 47 affordable homes, as part of its second phase on the development.
