Stadhampton residents have received a welcome boost this festive season, as a local housebuilder donated £200 towards two Christmas trees for the church and new lights to light up the tree on the green.
The donation by Bovis Homes was presented to Stadhampton Parish Council at the village Christmas Fair, which saw many locals attend to browse the stalls and admire the Christmas trees that had been decorated by the local primary school and Little Bears nursery students.

An officer in the Stafford Salvation Army has spoken of her delight after a national housebuilder donated more than 20 toys and dozens of items of clothing as part of its Christmas appeal.
Bovis Homes’ Dunston colleagues supplied the toys – including little unicorns and a robot dinosaur - plus four boxes and three bags of clothes to the charity, who will provide them to the homeless and those in need.

The Sherborne International Film Festival, a four-day charity fundraiser in Dorset, enjoyed another successful run this year, with the help of a welcome boost from a local housebuilder.
Bovis Homes donated £150 to the event, run by the Rotary Club of Sherborne Castles. The Festival went on to raise £2,300 for charity while providing the community of Sherborne with the opportunity to see foreign films which would not otherwise be shown locally.
