Hedge End's new phase

Saturday, August 27, 2011

Construction work on a fresh new phase of fantastic new homes in Hedge End is now under way by leading national house builder Bovis Homes.

The company has already completed two phases at its popular Oak Tree Place development in Hedge End and is now working on phase three with the first new homes going on sale there next month (September).

This latest phase will offer a selection of large family homes, with a wide range of 2 bedroom apartments, 3 bedroom homes and detached five and six bedroom properties, so will appeal to both first-time buyers, those moving up the property chain and to growing families needing more space.

As with all Bovis Homes the new houses will come with the company's all-inclusive specification which includes a chic new fitted kitchen with integrated appliances, en suite to main bedrooms, fitted wardrobes, supported by a ten year warranty and a two year customer support service.

Senior Sales Manager Lisa Ley, said: "Construction on phase three is now well under way and the larger, detached homes that we are releasing for sale in September, are ideal for families or those simply needing more space. This phase is also close to parkland at the edge of the development, so will offer a more secluded location, especially for those who reserve early and benefit from the pick of the plots!"

The development which is just off the B3342 Tollbar Way, offers convenient access to the M27 and M3 and is just four miles east of the city centre.

Lisa said: "We've been at Oak Tree Place for several years now and our early phases are well-established and were well-known among local buyers at that time. However, we want to ensure local house-hunters are aware that we're still very active and building in Southampton and offering a great range of new homes."

For those keen to make their move to a larger home but who have not yet sold theirs, the company also offers a Home Exchange scheme, in which buyers can 'trade in' their existing home if they wish to reserve a new one.

Lisa said: "Home Exchange is an excellent way for customers to sell their existing property and buy a new Bovis Home in a process that is much smoother and easier for them. Independent valuations are carried out on the existing home and we offer a fair market price based on those valuations. Once agreed we buy the property 'in exchange' which saves putting the 'old' house on the market, waiting for a buyer then possibly being stuck in a property chain and co-ordinating timings, to say nothing of the worry of it all falling through!

"Home Exchange is a very useful scheme for those who have found their ideal new home and want to move quickly without losing it."

The scheme is subject to a property survey and sales advisors will provide details of the specific terms and conditions.

House-hunters keen to register their interest in phase three at Oak Tree Place should call 0845 470 9111, or contact the sales team via the website, www.bovishomes.co.uk. Alternatively call in at the sales office that is open daily 10am to 5pm.
