Brand new show home now open!
If you are looking for houses for sale in Teignmouth, or the perfect new home near Dawlish or Torbay, Bovis Homes has the right deal for you.
Marine View is an exciting new development in the seaside town of Teignmouth in south Devon, a historic port and working harbour which nestles below the Haldon Hills and lies along a stretch of red sandstone coast in the unspoilt estuary of the River Teign. The town claims record-breaking hours of sunshine, and its position means that the weather is mild much of the time.
Marine View has many local amenities close by, so your everyday needs are easily catered for. Here you can choose from a selection of homes, all carefully designed and built for today's busy lifestyles.
If you like the idea of coastal living in a new home, in a friendly community with stunning scenery, upmarket shopping and great places to eat out and relax, Marine View has everything you need!

Getting around Teignmouth stretches from Torquay in the south to Exeter in the north, with Dartmoor to the west. It's on the A379 and connects to the M5 near the city of Exeter. Dartmoor National Park's eastern approach and Exeter can be reached by road in just 30 minutes; while Plymouth is about an hour's drive.
Public transport links Teignmouth with nearby Torbay and the market town of Newton Abbot. It's just 15 miles from Exeter International Airport, which has scheduled flights to UK and European destinations. Teignmouth also has a train station near the centre of town which is on the line from London Paddington to Penzance in Cornwall.
One of the best things about Teignmouth is that the town centre has no significant hills, and is small enough for you to reach any part of it on foot. Only a few miles to the north east is the pretty resort of Dawlish, and on the opposite bank of the Teign is the picturesque village of Shaldon.
A trip to the shops The town has undergone big improvements in recent years, including the pedestrianisation of the central area. You have the complete shopping experience in Teignmouth, from a handful of well known stores to lots of smaller independent shops full of antiques, craft materials and untold treasures!
Taking time out Beautiful beaches, a Victorian pier and promenade, live events and the rolling Devon countryside make Teignmouth a varied and exciting place to live. At the same time the town has a relaxed feel to it - take a seat at one of the many pavement cafes, enjoy your home-made cake and watch the world go by.
There really is always something to watch or get involved in. Along with the Carlton Theatre, annual jazz festival, carnival and regatta, there's a lido, golf club, and plenty of cycling, walking, water sports and fishing opportunities.
There's a great choice of restaurants and pubs dotted around the town and quay, from Indian and Chinese to continental and, of course, fish and chips.
The countryside and its wildlife are right on your doorstep, with a number of country parks, nature reserves and green spaces close by. And the south west coastal path, which passes through the town, is a great way to soak up the beautiful coast in this part of Devon.
Education Hazeldown School is the closest school to Marine View for four to eleven-year-olds, while the area also has four other primary schools. Teignmouth Community College is the nearest secondary school option, for students aged eleven to eighteen.
