Getting around
St George's Park is accessible to all major routes out of the town and the A34 to Stone is very close by. Junction 14 of the M6 is less than two miles away which takes you north to Newcastle-under-Lyme and to go south towards Birmingham, Junction 13 is just four miles away. The town's railway station is just a mile away and provides links to all major UK cities, including Birmingham, London and Manchester. For air travel Birmingham International Airport is approximately forty miles away, while Manchester Airport is a fifty two mile trip.
A trip to the shops

Enjoy the River Sow running through scenic Victoria Park, visit Stafford Castle, or marvel at the Ancient High House, said to be the largest timber framed town house in England. Just seven miles away is Shugborough Hall, the only complete working historic estate in the UK, while Cannock Chase, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is a short trip south of the town and there's regular horse racing at nearby Uttoxeter. For local leisure activities Stafford has its own Gatehouse Theatre, a mobile skate park, golf courses, a common and several sports and fitness centres.
Education
There are three primary schools within half a mile of St George's Park and a further two are less than a mile away. For senior pupils there are five secondary schools catering for eleven to eighteen year olds, all less than two miles away. Stafford College, located close to the town centre, is just half a mile away and offers a variety of courses for students of all ages.
