Getting around
Abbey Meadow offers easy access to the A30 to Salisbury, approximately 21 miles away and to Blandford Forum on the A350 just 13 miles away. Continue south on the A350 and the coastal resort of Poole, is just 28 miles and Bournemouth 32. Buses run regularly from the town centre to many local towns including Gillingham, where you can get train connections to London Waterloo, approximately a two hour trip and Exeter, around an hour. Coaches also run daily to Shaftesbury from London and Heathrow Airports. The nearest airport is 32 miles away at Bournemouth and Bristol Airport is 54.
