Picturesque Titford Pool and Titford canal are close by and you can step back in time at the Black Country Living Museum, just two miles away. Sandwell Valley Country Park offers six hundred and sixty acres of walks; cycle paths and water sports plus an RSPB centre.
Education
College Gate is less than one mile from two primary schools and the Moat Farm Infants and Junior Schools. There are two senior schools catering for pupils from eleven to eighteen years and a number of local colleges. A range of courses is on offer for teenagers and adults at Sandwell College for those aged sixteen and over.
