Taking time out Close to Kingfisher Rise you'll find Magor Marsh a 90 acre wetland reserve which is a bird-lovers haven. The village runs its own cricket, athletics, bowls, keep fit, scout and art clubs, with neighbouring Undy and there is a leisure centre at nearby Caldicot. Magor has two pubs and boasts a 13th Century church and the ruins of the ancient Procurator's House, the only one of its kind in Wales. Undy primary school is less than one mile and provides education for local four to eleven year olds. Caldicot Comprehensive school caters for senior pupils and is approximately 5 miles away. Coleg Gwent is the largest further education college in Wales and has a campus in Newport. It offers hundreds of courses for students of all ages on many topics.
