Getting around

Just off the A259 Hampton Park is less than two miles from Littlehampton town centre and buses run regularly from the area.

The A27 is within easy reach and offers a direct link to Brighton, and to the city of Chichester. Littlehampton Railway Station runs services to London Victoria via Gatwick Airport and also to Bognor Regis, Portsmouth, Southampton and Brighton. Trains also run from nearby Angmering, Ford and Arundel. For air travel Gatwick Airport is just 42 miles and Southampton 47 miles.

A trip to the shops

Littlehampton has a thriving town centre with independent shops, leading High Street brands and a weekly market. There's also a free two hour parking scheme. Arun Retail Park houses a range of national house hold brands. For relaxed shopping try the Windmill Shopping Village at Barnham, just five miles, or visit nearby Worthing. Taking time out

Littlehampton offers everything from picturesque beaches and harbour boat trips, to scenic walks, live entertainment and even Britain's longest bench! Picnic on the seafront green, listen to musicians at The Stage by the Sea or enjoy a show at the Windmill Theatre. Children will love the amusements at Harbour Park and exploring at the Look and Sea Centre. The River Arun offers relaxing walks or bracing ferry rides and West Beach has a nature reserve and sand dunes. Littlehampton Swimming and Sports Centre is ideal for fitness fans and only a few miles away you'll find the spectacular South Downs National Park and Arundel Castle and Gardens.

Littlehampton has four primary schools, the nearest to Hampton Park being Lyminster Primary School. There's also St Catherine's Catholic Primary, White Meadows Primary Academy and River Beach Primary. For senior pupils The Littlehampton Academy includes sixth form facilities. Northbrook College, offers further, higher and adult education at nearby Worthing.

  • Go passed Chichester via the Chichester Bypass
  • Continue on A27 merging onto Chichester Road

  • At roundabout take 3rd exit continuing on Mill Lane

  • Merge from M23 onto A23 signposted towards Brighton
