Getting around
Woodlands is in a lovely rural setting approximately one mile from Dawlish town centre. The town is served by the A379 trunk road which takes you north to junction 30 of the M5 and to Exminster, just eight miles and to Exeter, 13 miles. Head south and it takes you to Teignmouth and Torquay. The major A38, A380 and A30 routes offer direct access south to Cornwall and the rest of Devon. Dawlish railway station is less than a mile away and coaches run from Torquay, approximately 10 miles away. Exeter International Airport is a 15 mile drive.

A trip to the shops
A home at Woodlands gives you a great range of local shops and services in Dawlish just a mile away. This pretty Victorian resort offers everything from butchers and bakers, to cafes, chemists, convenience stores, post offices and much more. In nearby Torquay you'll find the Fleet Walk Shopping Centre with many leading department and other stores and Union Square Shopping Centre offers yet more choice. The county city of Exeter has the award-winning Princesshay shopping centre with more than 60 shops and cafes, whilst the Cathedral Quarter and Quayside areas offer a host of independent boutiques and local traders.

Taking time out
Dawlish has a wonderful coastal location with sweeping seafront and beach, plus the nearby dunes and sandy beach of Dawlish Warren is a European Blue Flag award-winning beach. The 500 acre Warren nature reserve and stunning Exe Estuary is packed with wildlife and walkers can soak up the scenery along the South West Coast Path. Dawlish has a strong community spirit with dozens of clubs, groups and activities. Dawlish Museum, Dawlish Manor Grounds and Shaftesbury Theatre are worth a visit and Coryton Cove is a secluded gem with brightly coloured beach huts and rock pools. Take a trip inland to explore Dartmoor National Park, or relax at historic Ugbrooke Park designed by Capability Brown. To sample the English Riviera a short trip south to Torquay offers more seaside delights.

Education
Woodlands is very close to Gatehouse Primary School in Secmaton Lane which caters for four to 11-year-olds. Dawlish has three further primary schools for the same age range within a mile and a half. Dawlish Community College caters for 11 to 16-year-olds and there are two independent schools providing secondary and sixth form education. Less than four miles away Teignmouth Community College takes students from 11 to 18 years.

Planning for your future
Each Bovis Home at Woodlands is carefully planned for your comfort and convenience. Our stylish and practical properties make maximum use of space to help you get the most from your new home in Dawlish. We also take care to match our homes to their location, often using local materials and reflecting nearby architectural features in the designs. The same attention to detail can be seen in the landscaping of our new development in Dawlish. Trees are retained wherever possible, new planting is added and open spaces included. Footpaths and cycleways also feature in many cases, to help create a pleasant living environment. Roads may vary in width and with traffic-calming measures and discreet parking often introduced, we aim to make our developments as safe as possible for pedestrians, cyclists and children. Above all we seek to create homes at Woodlands within welcoming communities where you can enjoy life in Dawlish to the full.

We give you so much more
When it comes to buying a new home in Dawlish, it pays to find out exactly what's included in the price - because that's the Bovis Homes difference. Unlike many other housebuilders we provide you with a wide range of features at no extra cost making our new homes excellent value for money. Enjoy the benefits of a fully-fitted kitchen complete with integrated appliances, wardrobes in many bedrooms and often an en suite. Whichever Bovis Home you choose at Woodlands you really can be sure you're getting more for your money. And it doesn't stop there. Just before you move in to your new house in Devon you'll be invited to attend a home demonstration to explain all the features of your new home and shortly after moving in you'll receive a courtesy visit to make sure you are happy with your new home. And for further peace of mind our dedicated customer service team is there to answer any queries you may have.
