Getting around
Brockworth is just a few miles from junction 11a of the M5 motorway, that leads north to Birmingham and the Midlands and south to Bristol and the West Country, in addition the M4 at Bristol links the region with South Wales and London. The nearby A419 gives a direct route to Swindon and the M4 in Wiltshire, whilst trains to London and other major cities run daily from Gloucester. Approximately six miles away at Staverton, Gloucestershire boasts its own airport with Bristol International airport just 50 miles south on the M5.

A trip to the shops
Locally there are supermarkets and coffee shops within the Coopers Edge development. Around 5 miles away in the historic docks area of Gloucester you'll find the impressive Gloucester Quays Designer Outlet with over 50 high street and designer brands. Gloucester also offers high street stores, independent retailers and markets as well as antique shopping. The Regency Spa town of Cheltenham is just a 15 minute drive away and is a popular shopping destination featuring the attractive districts of Montpellier and The Suffolks with their specialist shops and cafés to enjoy.

Taking time out
At Centurion View you can enjoy both city and country pursuits. Leisure and sports centres are within easy reach, including a Ski and Snowboard Centre and the Gloucester Rugby ground at Kingsholm. For nightlife Gloucester Guildhall offers live entertainment and there are many restaurants, pubs, clubs and a multi-screen cinema. The 900 year old Norman Cathedral was featured in the Harry Potter films. Amongst other historic buildings in the city is the New Inn, a fine example of a medieval galleried inn. Enjoy a trip down the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal, or visit galleries and museums at Gloucester Docks' former Victorian warehouses. Beyond the city you can discover miles of rolling Cotswold countryside and 'chocolate-box' market towns and villages.

Education
Centurion View has several schools nearby including Coopers Edge School, just a few minutes walk away. Millbrook Academy, Abbeymead Primary School, Gloucester Academy and Barnwood Park Arts College are also in the area and cover all age groups between them.
