Getting around
Bishops Cleeve in the northern tip of Gloucestershire offers convenient access to the M5 and M50 motorway networks as well as the A40 to Oxford, A46 to the Midlands and A417 to Swindon and the M4. The village is approximately six miles from junctions 9, 10 and 11 of the M5, giving access north to Birmingham and south to Bristol. At nearby Cheltenham the railway station links the area to major UK cities, including London, Cardiff, Birmingham and Bristol. Regular coach services also run from Cheltenham to London and other popular destinations. The Homelands is also very conveniently situated for access to large local employers such as Capita, Bovis Homes and GE who are all just 5 minutes away.

A trip to the shops
Today the thriving and busy Cotswold village of Bishop's Cleeve has an array of retail outlets from two major supermarkets to shops offering everything from gifts, hardware, flowers and books, plus a chemist, post office, off-licence and bakery. The is also a delicious fish and chip shop, two beautiful old village pubs and a hairdressers in the centre of Bishop's Cleeve. Cheltenham has a wide range of shops including the Beechwood and Regent Arcades and the famous Promenade. Its great variety of shops attract people from all the neighbouring smaller towns like Cirencester and Evesham.

Taking time out
The village is busy with various clubs, sports and social activities many of which are held at the Tythe Barn. Cleeve Hill provides a magnificent backdrop and is a favourite for those into outdoor pursuits such as golf, horse riding and mountain biking. Cheltenham, with its stunning Regency architecture is just three miles away and provides excellent entertainment and leisure facilities.

Education 
It has its own pre-school groups, primary and senior schools, sports and leisure clubs, offering a wealth of activities and pastimes for all ages and abilities.

From the M5 north

  • Leave at Junction 9 and at the roundabout take the 1st exit to the A46 Evesham
  • Continue on the A46 for approximately 3 miles
  • At Teddington Hands roundabout, take the 4th exit to Bishops Cleeve and Cheltenham
  • At the second roundabout take the first left onto Finlay Way
  • Continue to the mini roundabout and then take the first exit onto Station Road
  • Take the 3rd left into Gotherington Lane
  • At the mini roundabout, take the third exit and
  • The Homelands sales information centre and show homes can be found on the left.

From Cheltenham

  • Leave Cheltenham on the A435 Evesham Road towards Cheltenham Racecourse
  • Continue past the racecourse on the A435, straight over the traffic lights
  • Continue on the A435, passing through two roundabouts
  • Take the 3rd exit at the next roundabout onto Finlay Way
  • Continue to the mini roundabout and then take the first exit onto Station Road
  • Take the 3rd left into Gotherington Lane
  • At the mini roundabout, take the third exit and
  • The Homelands sales information centre and show homes can be found on the left.
