Getting around
Biddulph is in an ideal location close to Derbyshire's Peak District National Park, an Area of Outstanding Natural beauty, but also benefits from convenient access to junction seventeen of the M6 at Sandbach, less than twelve miles away. The neighbouring Cheshire town of Congleton is just five miles and the city of Stoke-on-Trent approximately twelve miles. Trains run to Manchester and Stoke, from nearby Congleton and for air travellers Manchester International Airport is less than a twenty five mile drive.
A trip to the shops

Just a few miles away is Rudyard Reservoir, built in 1800 and also close by is Little Moreton Hall, a moated 15th century half-timbered manor house and Grade 1 listed building owned by the National Trust. Enjoy a day's walking in the the beautiful Peak District National Park, less than twenty miles away. Biddulph itself has many pubs, restaurants and cafes, its own Biddulph Valley Leisure centre and a huge choice of community clubs and associations.
Education
There are four first schools within a mile of Uplands Mill, taking pupils from aged three to nine-years-old, with two middle schools, for pupils aged nine to thirteen. For senior pupils Biddulph High School, takes thirteen to eighteen year olds, providing sixth form education and there is a further four sixth form centres within a five mile radius.
